🤝 Partnerships & Fiscal Responsibility
Built strong partnerships with Volusia County, the State of Florida, and federal leaders.
Since being elected (11/08/2022), we have balanced the city budget and lowered the property tax rate every single year from 7.85 (2017) to 6.70 (2025).
We added a dedicated line item in the annual budget to pay down city debt - the first time in Deltona’s history
In 2025, Deltona’s credit rating increased from A+ to AA-, reflecting our city’s growing financial strength and responsible leadership.

🏙️ Growth & Economic Development
Initiated Deltona’s first Downtown / Uptown Redevelopment Plan to create a vibrant walkable city center.
Advocated for sustainable commercial growth across the city. So our growth strengthens our city, not strain it.
Deltona’s economic growth is real with commercial expansion going from roughly 2% prior to 2022 to 9% percent in less than 4 years. Deltona is growing with more commercial opportunities than ever before.

Initiated the National Mayor’s Fitness Challenge program.
Created the Mayor’s Warrior Run as part of the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge.
Partnered with Advent Health for an annual Diabetes Awareness Town Hall.
Partnered with the Move With The Mayor Campaign and the National Forum for Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention to help bring awareness to a healthy heart and a mental health.
